What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Hey, new here. Really happy with the replacement of my headlight assemblies on my 2007 HHR LT! One of them was so messed up that both brackets were broken and the assembly fell out in the mechanic's hands when the front bumper was taken off! vroom voom
Welcome to the site!
Today was a trip to explore the possibility of pain therapy for me, I'm not thrilled with their suggestions so far , but I have to have more X rays and an MRI. I wonder why the last ones I had were inconclusive?
Maybe my wiring harness is loose or corroded.
We'll see.

Yesterday when talking to Dave, the guy that owns the shop where I get work done, about brakes, I was mentioning the Cobalt SS rear axle swap for 4 wheel discs. He said "get one, we can put it in"...
So now I need to find one... Maybe.
I may also need to find a GMPP/Borla exhaust system.

Cobalt SS rear axles are getting hard to find. If you get one great, but if you can't you can mod your axle you have now. A mounting flange can be welded on to your axle and all stock SS parts bolt on. At 30mph I can lock up my rear wheels with the parking brake now. That is something you can't do with the stock drums. I changed mine 40k ago.
Today I changed the spark plugs and air filter. All ACDelco parts.
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the spark plugs are to RnR. Compared to my old Merc this thing is a walk in the park.
The plugs had 78,000 on them, I just bought the car so I figure why not let her have new sparkers. The old ones looked more or less like the new ones only yellowed and a little crispy.
The air filter needed replaced, it was fairly dirty.
The car lost any little vibrations at idle, and the throttle response coming up off idle is much better.
Thanks to the forum for the scoop on the ACdelco iridiums. Don't leave home without them.
