New front hub

I had a knocking noise in my front end of my 2009 HHR/AA5. Turned out to be passenger side front bearing so I changed the Passenger side front hub. WAH-LA no more noise. Easy job.

I changed the rear hatch switch on mine today. What a gigantic pain in the rear. Who ever thought of putting the 90 degree bend in where it connects ought to be shot. If it plugged straight in, the switch would be less complicated (cheaper), and could be changed by just taking out the 2 screws instead of having to remove the whole interior panel and the relay motor behind that.

Rolled out to the country for eggs and garlic, had lunch with our friends, drove home, some and no clunks , seems that when the tire guy rotated the tires on a Tuesday, they greased the swaybar end links and the ball joints. Awesome folks, and fast !

Today a trip to the lab for X-rays, yea!
Then off to Niagara Falls for lunch with family.
Still waiting for the fuel lines, so that’s fun, explaining the fuel odour!

Damn, I could really like RockAuto! I ordered my wipers on the 21st, had them in hand the next day. (It helped that they seem to have a warehouse in the Los Angeles area, but still, that's FAST!)

When to Thorold to babysit the kiddos, then when to the falls for a coffee , noticed the drivers side headlight has burnt out, about two months after the passengers side.
So today it’s raining, and Dan is not home, therefore I’ll have to wait till tomorrow to install LED H13 headlights, I ordered from EBay, I bid $15.00, and won we’ll see how long those last!

having done today: smell of raw gas was creeping around the other day and yup, the rusty fuel line issue. Should be ready for pickup tomorrow, not cheap but atleast it will be fixed.

Fairly common it seems like...
