Well... at least I get to stare at a catted downpipe for a few weeks before I can do anything with it.

And yes the taller sidewall, to me, puts the wheel/tire on the car in more of the correct perspective.
Very true about cleaning. You know with the spokes open , they look kinda like pretty new Corvette rims, except for the detail bolts around the perimeter on the rim.

More sidewall = More beefy.

And to the sulphated battery, I remember some additive from JC Whitney, XR7 or something like that. I think it did help.

Today, is a wet and rainy day, our local dirt track has already cancelled for tonight, the local cruise night was cancelled last night. So, we’ll take a ride out in the country to get eggs, turkey and bread.
We might just get a burger later , at least no doctors appointments today. We had 4 over the last 5 days.

Blue- I hear ya on the cancellations. We went to our local Cruise & was good, till afternoon it got pretty dark & folks were leaving out early. Wasn't much longer than when we got home & shut the garage, the rains began.

I pulled my heatshield to get access to the water pump and discovered my exhaust manifold has an enormous crack all the way down.

Bummer , that seems common, and their fairly easy to replace.

Today , was Hudson’s first dance recital, he’s almost 4 now and did a good job with his dance moves.

He wanted to sit up front with me afterwards and go to McDonalds afterwards.

Did some work on the stereo this weekend. New wiring harness, backup camera, new pioneer g-something door speakers to replace the mismatched stock and scosche speakers, amp, and sub. I also got some paint in and am planning to clean up some rusty areas on the inside of the doors and do some touching up on the hood. The HHR got the muffler and some of the exhaust replaced at the shop (it had rusted out).

added the head unit a few weeks ago, it's a cheap one with Android Auto + Apple CarPlay

Added a backup camera this weekend

Here's the new amp in the lower cargo area. That extra bit of wire for the control cable is temporary

Temporary sub location. My friend from work is going to help me install it in the factory sub area later this week.

Backup camera. We just made a little notch in the rubber on the hatch release button and used that existing hole for the cable.

You might want to trim the backup camera bracket, your tag is covered.
