Took the SS to the store to get a battery for my Dodge pick up. That battery up and died after 8 years with no warning what so ever. Voltage went from good to .93 volts over night. I'll assume it had an internal short.

WAIT a minute. The battery in my SS is also 8 years old. Sure hope I didn't jinx myself by noticing that.

My Battery is still the OEM, that's over 11 years old, but it tests fine, both load & static voltage.

But I think most know a battery will die when you are far from home, at least that has been my experience.

In other news, the exhaust system is on it's way... FedEx may get it here by tomorrow. Sooner than I was expecting.

Apparently not...

Manufacturer:
Suzuki
General Motors
CAMI Automotive

Production:
1988–1990 (Japan)
1989–2004 (Canada/U.S.)
2004–2007 (Argentina)
1996–2016 (Ecuador)

Junk though, where ever it came from...

Anyways... Exhaust system is on the FedEx truck, "out for delivery" so that will show up today.

Yesterday's bill for repairs was higher than the estimate but I have custom made nylon fuel and evap lines from the tank to the engine bay. (30 feet of line apparently) New brake fluid and they did the DexCool flush/fill again... (I paid for the DexCool, shop didn't charge for labor because we did this last year.)

With the spokes open you'd have to stuff a rag or something in between to wipe clean. My Paws are too big for that.
And the additional sidewall height gives it a beefier look.
Spokes open would give the spokes a narrower look.
Who ever said cleaning aftermarket wheels was fun?
And yes the taller sidewall, to me, puts the wheel/tire on the car in more of the correct perspective.

Sulfated cells do that. Not to insult you.
But right here on this forum is how to bring a sulfated battery back from the grave. For how long? I don't know, never done/did it. There were liquid products back the the early 70's that claimed to do this , but it was a lot of bull.
On with the show:

Got one part of my exhaust system today...

Now, if one were to place an order for two items and only one ships right away wouldn't it be normal and proper for there to be two separate shipping/tracking numbers as opposed to the single tracking number that I received for BOTH ITEMS

Now both eBay and FedEx says I received both items... and all I've got is this stinking downpipe.

Some days you just want to murdilate some people.... Geesh.

Greybeard. I know what you mean. My wife ordered a large quantity of assorted knick knacks from a Chinese vendor. It's for her sideline of arts and crafts sales.
1, 2 or 3 small packets arrive every day in the mail. This has been going on for over 3 weeks ! The wife said look out for more because only about half the order has made it here.
