What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
I mounted my new Reese crossbar on my 10. They are going to work well. The bars are about 4" wider then the stock rails. But at 48" wide I can carry 4 X 8 sheets with our a problem. By the waft does anyone know how to remove the antenna on the rear, I know the front one just unscrew, is it the same for the rear?
Thanks
Thanks
She's back in the shop today... Seems one of the new hubs isn't communicating. Bad hub or wiring? I don't know.
I left the new crank sensor pig-tail connector with them and told them to fix the AC wiring as well. I'm getting sick of wiring problems...

Got the call this morning, I can pick Oldblue up this afternoon, from the body shop! Yea!
Well we picked up the HHR, looks awesome, he cut this out of the rear fender same in the other side. The colour matched up nicely for a ten year old always outside ride!

Changed the upper engine mount, it was leaking oil and about a 1/2 to 7/8 inch compressed.
I noticed the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt now lined up perfectly in the access hole, I'm thinking that's a great way to check if the mount is shot or not!
10 years , 396,950 klms, it's time for a new one.
RJ I'll let you know if there's an improvement in front end shakes

Olblue still shakin about? Greggs highway shake improved drastically when I rotated the two front tires to the back. I had the shaking issue since getting them last September, and had back and forth disputes with my local Tire Kingdom, first blaming the shake on rims, then struts, the strut mounts, then bushings of various sorts, then alignment, just any random thing but the tire (all of which are or were recently replaced parts) this dragged on for a year, and now its been a year since install. Warranty most likely no longer applies. The shake is very minimal now, and I plan to live with it until a new set of tires is due.
I replaced both headlight and parking/turn signal bulbs on my wife's 09. What a PITA. I was planning to replace the barb plugs with a push pin type but the parts store sold me the wrong size. I will be better prepared when mine goes. But at least hers is done.
