Replaced front door speakers again. The cerwin vegas I put in the rear sounds so much better than those cheesy JVCs I put in the front. This time I went with Memphis PRX602 6.5" with swivel tweeter. Now I need to save for the double din radio!

I just got back from my annual trip to the Colorado mountains. I was getting over 32+ mpg on no alcohol fuel. My 2.2 usually struggles around the m20s. Of course, I held my speed near 65. I think that was key. Me putting along at 65 while getting blasted by most everyone else doing 85 was spooky! Then again, they passed me 3 times. I must have been doing something right. Lol

Conservatively, around 300wtq/280whp. Only mod is the K&N filter add. Thats going to bring home the groceries a little faster. On the stock tune I never really noticed the turbo whirl, now it has a sweet little whistle while it works.

I met a HHR owner at a Cars and Coffee last Saturday, he is not on line so I am going to take some photos of his car and post them. Custom grill a 3-D appearing woody side panels, headers, dual exhaust, wheels and a roof rack with a surf board on it. I went over an bout another Reese roof rack from him new in the box, while I was there he was telling me about a two-tone panel, silver over metallic red, on Craigs list in Pulaski, Va. He knows the owner, it has 35,000 miles but said the asking price was negotiable.

Well I finally got around to buying a Pcm Suite from HP Tuners today. Now to play the waiting game.
I decided the gm turbo kit and reflash wasn't cutting it anymore. Hoping to really wake up or its out with the stock turbo and onto a full build.

Still nothing, but the bumpers are painted, the drivers side rear door is sand blasted and painted. I was kindly asked to leave my IPhone at the front desk and was allowed to have a look through the doorway . I couldn't see much.
