Went out to local pick-a-part yard to verify Cobalt steering wheel is a plug-n-play swap.
It is. WooHoo.
Found an NOS wheel for under $100.
Should be here and installed for the new year.
I'll take pictures of before, during and after.
AND, I'll disconnect the battery 30 minutes before I start.

Cool! You're going to love it, especially the mute button. Make sure you read the thread about swapping out controls and watch the YT videos on removing the airbag. I wasn't as easy as I thought but think I was just being impatient with the process. Don't freak out when you see the wheels are different - it will fit perfectly with the airbag.

Thanks for the support.
I've been watching and reading for a week now,
My current steering wheel has audio and cruise.
I just wanted something different (4 spoke) and smaller.
I may have to paint the new wheel, but I won't know until it gets here.

I would have bought the old one from you because I actually wanted the stock diameter wheel - bet you can put it on eBay or somewhere else and break even.

I had to buy a new tire today. My back passenger side tire had a big old bubble on it

Cheap Guy,
I'm not sure you would want my old steering wheel as this AZ sun does quite a job on anything it comes in contact with.
Especially after 16 years.
However, if you still want it I will send it to you.
I'll even include the airbag.
Just cover the cost of shipping.

That isn’t good, for reference, what brand and how old was the tire with the bubble blister?
Good to see you back on the site, Ronnie!
