I was pricing wiring connectors today to fix the rodent damaged wires... Holy $&@% Batman, those things are pricy.

Maybe time for plan B....

Plan B is check your local wrecking yard or maybe someone on this site parting out an HHR.
Wasn't it member hellshotrod that had several he was parting out ? You could check with him.

The wagon is in the shop.... Front hubs/bearings, Rotors, calipers, pads... Flexpipe and other exhaust work, throttle body cleaning..... While they're at it tire rotation.

The rotors and pads are warranty replacement items (NAPA lifetime) and the shop is covering one of the calipers because last year that was the side that came off while I was driving home from getting the suspension work done. I asked him it that could have caused the torn boot as it was the same side, and he said "Maybe, I'll get you a new one no charge".... I thought that was nice of him so I decided to go ahead and get the other side done so both are new. He jokingly said, "You know the new ones won't be purple"...

I'm going to have to do the wiring myself, tackle some rust/painting and stuff on the underside... Winters are harsh around here on cars. Oil change and some touchup/misc, including making the calipers purple again. lol
