Today I did the very best thing that I have ever done with my 07 HHR Panel....... I used it as a trade in on a 2017 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack 392. They only gave me $500 bucks for it but I believe I still got the best of that deal. That thing was a constant money pit and time stealer from 20,000 miles til the end. Good riddance.

Sorry to hear you had issues with your '07. Although my '06 was traded away in 2014 but I did have 130,000+miles on it. I couldn't find another acceptable GM product and got a 2015 Tucson and I got $3000 off that sticker for the HHR. This spring Hyundai offered $21K for that Tucson and I got another Tucson, a 2017. I realized I didn't need a 500 HP car to go to the grocery store.

Well you drove it for 10 years, I'd say you got your money's worth.

Today is Labour Day, so Sweetie put me to work washing the HHR and her GT.
Then we'll head out for a coffee, somewhere along the Niagara River Parkway.

Tonight the HHR is going in for new rear quarters, respray the front and rear bumper fascias and sand blast and reseal the driver side rear door in the inside.
My GM dealership did the doors 5 years ago, and they're gonna honour their work!

Wow, what a coincidence, Im doing the doors today too. My dealership promised up and down that they would fix them if the problem came back, but when it did 1.5yrs later I got the cold shoulder. Id love to get the bumpers done, as I had the hood resprayed earlier this year. It of course chipped before I could put PPF on it.
Luckily I have help, with more energy and better backs than I have.

My guy has been working on my GM vehicles for years , we met when I started as a lot boy way back in 1968, Len was just promoted from that job to the clean up bay. Man 49 years, I gotta take him out for dinner, at our age we won't be ordering a steak!!

I'll see if he'll let me stop by in a couple of days for progress pictures!

In the process of changing the back shocks and cleaning up/priming/painting rusted stuff... Springs are out, drums are off, but I'm NOT taking off the sway bar. Powder coat failed on the springs and the sway bar so prime and paint will have to suffice.

Winters are harsh on this stuff around here.

Figures I tweaked my back on the first lugnut as soon as I started this morning... So I'm messing around with this stuff while in extreme pain. Oh so much fun.

Picked mine up from the body shop today. I had a new skin put on the passenger side and the door was not lined up properly. it had chips from hitting the rear door and the gaps were noticably bigger at the top and almost touching at the bottom. It's good to go though now :)
