Funny, like I said I don't smoke and no one does in my castle. (hell, no one enters my castle) but my recliner that has been fully rebuilt & upholstered by me (frame, springs, to cloth 1005 new), can have that ciggy smell at times. I think its a BO mix. (but its random and far between.) That said, either way, not cool. Ponder the HVAC ventilation system. seats & carpet ore only part of the system. (yes, i'm the typical devil's advocate type, but also try to help offer oddball ideas.)

HVAC , cabin air filter, I pulled the dash and as many bits of the vent tubes got wiped down with first a solution of vinegar and water , then rubbing alcohol and water. I had the carpets out of the HHR washed and dried in the sun , then reinstalled.
Now it’s just in the wet damp season I get that odour, it must still be in there , maybe the heater core fins , it lurks, waiting!!

Out running today in the rain, took the Old Battery back, & instead of getting my core refund back, I applied it to this months's Oil Change Special, since it was my brand on sale.
So I only had to kick out about $15. for 5 qts of M1 E.P. with same oil filter. I love deals.

And my engine fan is acting normal again, maybe the old battery was trying to start some issues ?

Nope myself and Gregg are just fine! Since install about two years ago, I never really had to test the sway bar, but MAN Gregg darted to the side like a darn Porsche or something I was genuinely impressed. It was on a one lane road at a four way intersection, I had the green light of course. I had to swerve into the oncoming left turn lane, thank goodness no one was there or I would have had no choice but to hit him and at that speed it would've been Greggs Demise. Fortunately I was able to swerve out of and immediately back into my lane without any fuss from Gregg. At least I am a millennial who keeps his eyes on the road!

Well today, completely by surprise, the hangers on the Walker exhaust pipe rusted and failed, a 3 inch hole developed and the noise was very annoying.
So, I was forced to go into a local muffler shop, they changed out the Walker , for a new Walker, fixed it under warranty! N/C !
