Took my "new" HHR for a drive and a Gorilla Ladder followed me home.

I have just been cruising mine around town. I had to let my girl borrow it while I oil and spark plug changed her ride. I was happy to get it back as I am only spending 32 bucks every two weeks in gas :)

Took a relaxing cruise out in the countryside picked up wild birdseed and enjoyed the quiet ride and 33.1 mpg!

Got my old one back.
Here we go with the story. they said nothing is wrong with it. Charged it over the weekend and load tested fine. I asked why it didn't charge up while I drove for 1 1/2 hrs, the answer was "I don't know".
Time will tell now that it's back in the car. This battery has screw on caps and I never check the water level in the cells, but when I got it back there was small amounts of water by the caps.
It's very frustrating when you have worked in the automotive field for 50 years and now that I'm retired don't have test equipment like I did when working.
I do have the BAFX OBD2 , don't know if will monitor battery voltage though.

Picked up the HHR from the shop this morning... Wow! night and day difference, and it was great before I had the work done. Now it's flat out amazing...
