Hey, man, that’s what we car guys do, help out each other! Happy to help you out! Maybe in a week or two we’ll tackle the front brakes on your wife’s ‘07 .

We had fun in the sun, here in my driveway, not really a big job but four hands are quicker and an eye for lefty loosey, righty tighty! Can’t wait till we change the timing and balance shaft chains!
so, today the BlackSwan sat in the shade under the tree across the street to make room in the driveway. Sweetie took her Terrain to go to her mom’s house.

Tucked some wires, wrapped my air oil separator in self amalgamating tape to eliminate false kr, fixed an oil leak at the hpfp and 3 exhaust leaks from loose v bands.

Deleted the rear seats, rewired the meth pump, cleaned up some wiring and installed my vent gauge pods

Replaced my non-cancelling turn signal switch. Took 15 minutes.

Yeah, someone mentioned that might be the case with mine
When I slid the new one into the niche, I couldn't get the black tabs to snap into place but nonetheless, it's not coming out.

A thought for you, as that was one of the first things I changed out when I got mine. It will take a little finessing of the switch, and you have to make sure that the wheel is straight up, and the tilt wheel angled right, and it will slide right in and click. Also, making sure you use a dab of Moly grease in there on the white contact point. It will help keep the tooth from wearing down and slightly lubricate the contact on the column.
The first time I installed it, the right turn sometimes didn’t cancel. I pulled it back out, dabbed on some Moly, then repositioned the steering wheel and angled the tilt, and it clicked right in, plus the right turn now cancels everytime.

Took a drive to Niagara Falls, went for a walk with Sweetie, came home, the RockAuto order arrived, I think I pulled a left calf muscle. I can’t put any weight on my left foot. Ouches, time for Tylenol and a nap! Dan came over and put the package in the garage.
