Well the other day getting my daily drive project car ready. Will be installing a S/C kit in my HHR. Is a 2.4 decided to get a boost gauge ready and routed when my kit comes in. I have done allot to this car and some may say is a waste or should have gotten a SS but what ever lol. This was pretty easy ordered the single gauge pod for steering wheel off ebay and the boost gauge is from glow shift. To route the vacuum line for the boost gauge drilled a hole through the firewall there is enough line to run it. on the gauge pod had to sand/smooth it down do the gauge could snug in. The fun part came when had to route the wires and tap into power source going to the stereo. Made sure it powers on and it did, I can switch the color of the pod display but will see once I recv the S/C kit and have it running what color will pick lol.
This is quite possibly the first time I've heard anybody complain about being near a beach in Hawaii...
I wish I didn't have to but you don't think of this stuff when you move. I'll send you pics later to show you, my driver's side wheel wells and all that is visible is heavily rusted, like an old salvaged car, the Chevy emblems are pitted and I have to change wiper blades every six months, but he'll my apt bldg is 50ft from high tide line!
(snip) I turned the crankshaft by hand with no resistance, so I’m not sure if that would have been enough to bend the valves.
Or, if the valves can't close because of being bent, that would allow you to rotate the crank with NO resistance, cause it can't build compression. .. But we'll hope for the best.. Please keep us updated, if you would.
