AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Done.
Even cleaned the throttle body.
It was dirty.
Took a test drive, no issues, no leaks.
Thanks again to all who have documented their experiences.
What a BIG help that was.

After our cruise, the transmission shifts very smoothly, the throttle response is crisp and there is no 40 mph shift or torque converter lockup vibration. Ahh, maybe next the thermostat, thermostat housing and water pump!

Now clean the MAF , smooths out even more!
Today it’s a nasty late fall , rainy day , it wants to snow but it’s just not cold enough, maybe tomorrow!

It’s December! 20 days until the Winter Solstice, the BlackSwan waits for me to brush off the snow and ice. It’s 27 degrees F , not all that cold.

Cleaned MAF sensor.

Average speed 70
33.0 MPG.
I can live with that.

We also got some snow yesterday, a little more than Oldblue got in Canada.

Before the snow started, my son decided to customize some stuff on the 2008 SS that I just got for him. Now we can tell our two black SSs apart.

Those rims are 17" that I bought for my old HHR LT and have Blizzak snow tires on them for the winter. This way the stock 18" rims won't corrode from winter salt.

We did all the blue painting with Plasti-Dip.
