What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
So I "borrowed" a fuel pressure gage kit from Autozone. ($150 + tax, new price for a used item, fully refundable upon return.)
59 psi, dropped to 54 psi upon shutoff and didn't move for 5 minutes. Returned the kit, didn't have it for an hour. Could have done the test in the Autozone parking lot.
Home for dinner.

[QUOTE = geg; 904809] Well, it's not really about the car ...
Today I signed up for the Covid-19 vaccination. Several days ago, several hundred thousand Sputnik V were delivered to the city. First, doctors and teachers were vaccinated, now everyone.
I thought about doing or not doing, we are a safe region and the probability of getting infected is not great.
And then I decided: what the hell, it's free anyway. On December 22, I'm going to the doctor. [/ QUOTE]
Hi guys.
Well, I went to the doctor.
The result is successful but unexpected.
According to the instructions, I did not eat or drink an hour before the visit. The first step is to test for antibodies to COVID-19.
The nurse took the blood from her finger and sent me into the hallway to wait for the result. After 10 minutes, she came out and said that antibodies were found in my blood and I did not need a vaccine.
Thus, it turned out that some time ago I quietly contracted this infection. I did not have a fever and headaches, I did not lose my smell, I do not remember at all that I felt bad.
In general, if I want, I can try again in 3 to 5 months if the antibodies disappear.

I double checked the coolant, in the morning it took about a pint. In the evening , no air under the pressure cap.
We went for a drive to the Niagara River parkway, parked and went for a walk. Then stopped for a coffee on the way home.
I think the burping of the coolant is finished, I will check again in a couple of days.

Today was a shower and detail spray, spray waxed and replaced the coolant temperature sensor wire connector, I managed to break the lock tab off last week tearing down to replace the water pump. I also replaced the wire harness holders for the coils and the fuel injectors. Got to keep them up and away from hot exhaust manifold area. I forgot the darned MAF sensor connector and had some notifications on the DIC and a CEL , all cleared and it’s starting and running smoothly and very nicely!
last night on our way home, fuel was at 88.2 cents per litre still approximately $4.66 a US gallon. But cheap over here, most stations are at 96.6 to 1.03 a litre. So, it’s at the full mark on the fuel gauge.
A very Merry Christmas to all!! Drive safe, stay safe, stay healthy!!
