Just what I needed, another project.

The bumper cover at rock auto (US prices) is $48.99 plus $140.99 shipping.

Here are some pics of the work in progress:

The front end minus a bunch of parts. Note the Harbor Freight 10-ton hydraulic tool on the ground.

The frame extension after some straightening:

At least the rad cradle is intact. I think it’s fixable, but the insurance companies don’t, after all it is a 2007, with over 300,000 miles.
But it’s Oldblue! It did much better then the Equinox!

I figured the shipping would be astronomical!

Since the mrs had a bad battery (1 yr old) from the Dealer on her Mopar, I got time to test my 2.4 year old Advance Auto battery.. It load tested @ 800ca, & new was 810ca, so that is excellent.
I also tested the Alt output, & starter, all checked out fine.

I'll retest my battery in beginning of Sept, as warranty runs out 9/18/21. And they aren't cheap, same battery as in newer Corvettes.

I checked my inventory of sand paper, I have wet paper, 320, 400, 600, 1,000 and 1,500 grit. All are for hand wet sanding
The BlackSwan, stayed in the driveway as the winter storm blew by.

Thanks, I’ve got a twin horn set up from a 2014 Camaro SS it’s pretty loud, but I wanted a little more , for those clods with the stereo full blast, that block my driveway waiting for one of the co-eds across the street. It must be part of the modern mating ritual, I’ve never seen either of their many male friends even get outta the car and ring the door bell!
