Somewhere behind the car is a bunch of "packed" in stuff including a small tractor, 2 riding mowers and a small trailer. Now to make the dog a place in the garage with some heat.

The SS tucked away.
Nice big garage. I have a two car garage that has only housed one auto...a 1949 Chevy Deluxe. The ex and me were going to restore it back to its glory. We got it out of a farmer's field about an hour away. We traded it for a chest freezer! We ended up selling it as I could see he would never get around to restoring it.

My goal this spring is to clean out the garage and reclaim it to house my car.

Well...current temp is a tropic 1°F with the wind chill of -16°F. My furnace or thermostat is dealing me a fit...my bedroom is a brisk 54°F. I have blocked off rooms with doors, running a fake fireplace and running my gas oven at 500° with the door open. It's fluctuating between 64° and 73° right now. Oh...and It's snowing.

What does this mean? It means you get one pic from me of my "new" 2007 Chevy HHR LT that I took from my window. Not a good shot...but I was able to snag a few pics from the listing on Marketplace.

The best thing is that it has just shy of 67k miles. There is a new battery and new tires in the last few months. It has leather interior with heated seats.
It needs an oil change ASAP. I was going to have that done today...but not in this snow storm. It will also need brakes. Another easy fix.

Now the engine light was on...so I connected my reader. It generated two codes ISO 9141-2 and kwp2000. I have read it's a communication issue with the reader. I believe...please correct me if I am wrong...I need a more compatible reader. My other HHR was also a 2007 that didn't have a problem with my reader...so I have no idea why this one is having issues. The T/C light was also on and off. I briefly read in the forum some ideas of what it might be.

Bottom line we all know you won't get a perfect 14 year old car for $2,250. But I truly felt it was a pretty good deal with low mileage and owned by an elderly gentlemen.

Sorry...other car blocking quite a bit.

I am supposed to work at 8pm tonight. Not sure if that's gonna happen or not. I gotta try to get out and buy a thermostat just in case that's the issue with the heat in the house.

DW, glad you’re off tomorrow too!

Ronnie, hope the thermostat fixes your home heating problem, and nice HHR, those codes are not HHR related, try a new battery in the reader.

Wow, leather, heated seats nice!
consider upgrading those brakes to SS non Brembo brakes, huge improvement, no real difference in price.
You need SS caliper brackets and rotors, you use the original callipers, and brake pads.
The larger diameter rotors offer shorter stopping distance, no pulsating brakes!

If you’re replacing your brakes, best time to do it!

Ronnie- Bummer on your boo-boos.. Hope ya feel better. Nice looking find on yer newest '07. Cool. You didn't waste any time..

Hope the T-Stat fixes your house heat. Might wanna p/up some Electric room heaters. Just to have something. They suck electric, but will put out some heat.

I am still having quite a bit of back pain...thanks for asking.

At the age of 55 I don't like borrowing my parents car. So I wanted to get something ASAP.!

it wasn't the thermostat...it was the hot sensor igniter. I was able to snag one from a friend's husband who is an HVAC tech. I got it for a little bit over cost. I had kept part of the house warm last night with my gas stove...set the oven at 500° and left the oven door open. And I have a fake fireplace that is a heater. It wasn't too bad.

And for the next 2 weeks we’re still in lockdown! Stay at home order is still in effect! So, not much to drive to anyway!
