I use rotors from a Canadian company in Montreal, any good brand will do, Centric or PowerStop, just make sure you order the brackets and rotors for the 2008 to 2010 SS JL9 non Brembo brakes

Matched rotors and pads

Cardone brackets, you still use your original calipers

This is a nice set up if you’re replacing your front calipers



I’m not a fan of the drilled rotors, but that red powder coating is cool

Mine is a 2007. I have been out in the cold wet mud trying to get the underneath screw out to.change my headlight bulb. Came inside to.warm up. I wanted good lighting driving into work tonight.

That 7 mm screw cam get sticky, put a drop of oil or some never seize on it when you put those back in, make it easier next time.

Well, Oldblue rides again, after rising from the ashes of being totaled, with the help of a bunch of donor body parts from my original 2006 HHR:

I will try that next. I came inside to warm up and have a late lunch. All of a sudden I am zapped of energy. It's gonna be a long night.
