On national news, they said they are offering $100. cash for people to get the shots. That is scary.

Gave the Panel it's annual battery load test, & it is good. Went to go get some 100% gas for the mowers.

I run my Panel on it too.

Went out yesterday afternoon for a drive in the country, no noise from the front end, brakes or suspension. We stopped for a coffee, then drove home.

Replace the gas cap on our 2009 2.2, P0422 still keeps coming back (as expected.) Purge valve is relatively new. Will resist temptation to replace vent valve and look for leaks first.

Wearing my mask again. Vaccinated but still can spread it. Pissed that I can’t collect $100. Should be more for doing it early.

We unmasked and “reopened” too soon. (I though it was obvious.)

That code might not be what you’re thinking….

yeah, reopening is good but not until everybody has at least one shot , preferably two! But , people will tend to over do things! Chicago and Provincetown are prime examples, to close, no masks and some no vaccine. That’s a dangerous formula, they get to enjoy a weekend, some get to loose they lives!

Ya know people with both shots are getting covid, And still wearing masks. There is no data to support the claims. The news, either ya believe one side or the other.

Yesterday, I took an hour or two, to clean front and rear brakes, adjusted the rear adjusters, lubed the pads and shoes, and noticed the right cv axle was a touch loose , I can run the axle almost half a turn before the hub turns , and while I turned the axle and held the hub, there is a clicking noise.
I’ve ordered new ones, Cardone from RockAuto and yes I remembered the discount code

My son and I worked on his HHR SS 5-speed (I own it but he drives it).

Replaced the timing chains and the associated parts.

Installed the ZZP single-cat 3" downpipe.

Waiting for the 3-bar sensors and tuned PCM from ZZP to arrive.

Steve, if you still have Oldblue in behind the barn, it has a replacement front guide upper bolt, I installed.

Yes, I still have OldBlue behind the barn (and also my old 2006 HHR).
I'm hanging on to both in case I need some parts.

I also received the other SS control arm (I keep forgetting which one is backordered now), so I have two new sets of SS control arms in my stock.

Also just got the SS shift cables from gmpartsdirect, they will be added to the "hard-to-get" inventory.

The only other part I don't have as a spare is the SS driveshafts.
