I’d start with the speakers first. They apparently are the weak spot in the audio system and relatively easy and cheap to change. I had two blown when I bought mine which the previous owner apparently dealt with for a long time.

I got some great advice on the thread I posted on it !
Yea I will start with the speakers first,
That seems to be very common from what I have been told on here . I will start with the front 2 and take it from there m,and if it is the radio time for Blue tooth lol
But glad to have my HHR back from my son :)

Today we took a drive out to Thorold, a visit with our niece. Was going to pickup 3 sheets of 4’x4’ drywall, but darned if it would fit. So, she’s bringing it over in her pickup truck next week.

I do have a roof rack, just don’t want to use it, it’s raining out and there’s a nasty wind blowing in from the north west

Took a road trip with my HHR about 1 hr each way, doing 50/60 mph and per the HHR computer getting 31MPG :O Best I have seen yet ! :
And that is with my COOPER snows set at 30 PSI per Specs
My guess is that new o2 sensor is helping with that ..
And it was nice driving my HHR again :)
Now if it stays at 30 mpg I will be real happy ..
I did reset the trip meter so I will do a hand calculation next fill up and see how close the car is or is not
Going to put 921 LEDs in the reverse lights if I can get that socket out lol Man that thing is in there tight :O

Radco,
Mine was in so tight it was easier to remove the assembly.
THEN, I realized that I was twisting the socket the wrong direction.

LOL Yea I am thinking to just grab my 10mm and do it that way.
. FYI I was trying CCW but man that reverse socket is tight.
1 more shot tomorrow then out with the 10mm lol at least I am not the only one who thinks they are hard to remove :)

LED reverse lights are great. While you’re at it, the license plate and corner lights are a great and easy LED upgrade, along with the interior lights. I don’t mess around with any others because you’ll need a resistor, like for the turn signal lights.
