Appreciate you sharing all these tales. I am hoping with all your experience you can tell me what the very best choice is for an FE5 rear bushing and if it’s exactly the same for FE1/3. Or do you have more “experimenting” to do?

The replacement right side lca the hole measured 2.355. I believe that’s the problem!
The new bushing I installed yesterday fell out of the lca, and I had to press it into the new lca.
Thankfully there was no damage done to the new bushing.
Subsequently, there is still a clicking noise up front, I have changed the brake pads, brake anchor pins, sway bar end links and both cv axles and so that leaves bearing hubs! They’ll be here Tuesday.
I also change the oil and filter and lubed the ball joints, and swaybar end links.

Wholly cow! I would have considered telling them to go away. Did your shop send them? Or your insurance company? If the latter they need a bad review.

Last Fall I needed a tow for about the second time in my life and almost forgot that my insurance covers towing. Working with their 800 number was a comical PITA and a lot of trouble for a 1-mile haul.

The Moog K201285 is the rear bushing which fits the FE1, FE3 and FE5 lower control arms the ball joint differs but the front bushing and rear bushings are the same.

They are the only game in town... His rolloff truck rusted away and the bed is falling off, so he used the trailer instead.

@Oldblue

If you go back to one of my earlier posts I mentioned fuel smell... Something got the fuel line. What, I don't know, but it was worse than I thought.

It's an old gravel driveway... at this point it's in the driveway, not on the driveway.

My fuel line on the 2007, leaked pretty bad on our 2 year old concrete driveway, Sweetie was not happy with that, at least the BlackSwan only had the vapour line leaking fuel fumes, no fuel on the concrete. She still wasn’t happy!
Hopefully your fuel lines guy can fix it quickly and inexpensive as possible!

I did take a drive to the cemetery to water the flowers there, then came home, cut the lawn, watched the NASCAR race, then barbecued burgers for dinner.

It's all nylon line, not sure where it was leaking though.

My shop is fair in their pricing and do great work, but between the wires and the fuel leak this will be one of those "I didn't need that expense right now" moments.
