Sweetie talks to her mom, even though there’s no response, she tells mom how the grand kids and great grandchildren are doing. Hopefully, Mom at least hears and understands, and is comforted by her voice.
I have some specific experience in this area. About a year ago I had some major surgery (can't get any more major) and I had an NDE (Near Death Experience). I never did believe in this stuff, but I'm a believer now, it happened to me. I can verify that your loved one can hear you but it is not like a conscious person "hears." It is more on an ethereal level, but they can hear! I was told by my family that I had much more to accomplish in this life. They convinced me and I crossed back over - and glad I did (my new to me HHR is part of my continuing therapy!). I agree this is weird stuff by some anonymous guy on the Internet, but they can hear you!
Your loved one needs for you to be strong right now and talking to them (not about them) is being strong. My best wishes to all.
No problem, What are ya gonna do with the set you have ?
(Re: Foose Legend wheels 17 x 8)
Use ‘em. Wife loves ‘em on her daily (Summer only.) One has a little rash chunks missing, would like to replace it. Less motivated but I would buy two. Or 4. Or 5.
Only at a good price, though. They’re a bit of a PITA. They have an extra set of valves on the inside that want to interfere with the strut. They only exist to accommodate the TPM sensors because the regular ones are in the middle of the rim and the sensors stand a good chance of being crushed there, or so the designers calculated, apparently. Probably if skinny rubber band tires are used. Maybe that’s why they were discontinued.
sooooo . . . . today i doubled the numbers of HHR's i own
picked up this cream puff 2010 SS needing a whee bit of TLC. Forty six thousand original miles runs and goes down the road right and tight a is basically all surface work. The keen observer will notice it needs doors and quarters . . . . anyone see where I'm going with this? (i love Panel HHR's ) . . . hint hint . . . and i own a body shop . . . hint

10-4 on them. Never knew about the 'extra set of inside valves... Happy Hunting.
actually i have a rust free Panel parts car that took a good poke to the front end so i literally have every part to do a full Panel conversion. Been looking for an SS Panel since the day i got my LS Panel but we all know how easy those are to find
And you can call thread project thread the Clone Ranger, even tho you’re not going with that pickup theme! Now you post photos of the SS wagon to panel conversion, nice find!
Today , a rainy day, so I’m going over to Sweeties mom’s house get it ready for winter, shut down the garden spigots, close off the AC and cover the compressor. Then , I think I’ll take Sweetie out for a drive later, maybe a coffee.
She’s been at her Mom’s side every day and needs some fresh air.

definetly a build thread coming, thinking about naming it "The Great Pretender" lol. Changing the color completly as well, dont really care for this burgandy.
Gotta be honest prior to my orange one i had never been in an HHR and the only one i had really seen was one in a parts yard lol. Bought it sight unseen, funny thing is i bought this one from the same guy and had never been in an SS. I just know how impressed i was with the Panel. I was able to drive the SS for a few blocks up in Detroit and ohhhhh yeah . . . . this is gonna be a fun car for sure. Runs out great man these things really scoot. Been combing the thread here for ideas on mods and stuff, maybe squeeze a little more perf out of it.
