Today a good hand wash and dry , then detailed and spray wax ! Spiffy! Clean!
much more satisfaction cleaning the HHR by hand then the car wash cannon and garden hose or my new pressure washer and it’s foam cannon ! Those leave a full lustreless finish!
And now to drive out to Niagara Falls to visit with my mother in law, 25 days no food, no water, just catatonic sleep. So sad.

I use ONR (Optimum No Rinse) diluted in 2 gal. distilled water on my two cars (one of which burns no gasoline and is powered by the solar panels on the roof of my house. ). I use high quality (meaning expensive) microfiber towels to wash and dry. This is all done inside my garage and out of the sum. It leaves a beautiful, glossy finish on both cars and no scratches whatsoever.

I drove the HHR to get my Moderna booster today with a flu shot chaser. I then filled up the HHR with 87 octane at Costco - what an ordeal (compared to the Covid booster). Maybe cell phones should be banned while pumping?

I use microfibre cloths to dry my cars after a good wash and rinse. Then a spritz of detailer spray and spray wax . No swirls, no streaks.

Today we journey back to the hospital, still no change in my Mother in law’s condition, day 27 now.

Today is our 15th wedding anniversary, over shadowed by the sad time with her mom, and Sweetie is still recovering from her colon cancer surgery, just a sad mess all around. Sweetie gets her surgery staples removed on the 8th. So there is hope!

Why? I drove it! I washed it!
Sorry, Billy, I’ll keep my subject matter to my HHR!

Today, I went out to scrape the frost off the windows and noticed oil on the driveway under the BlackSwan in the driver’s side, upon further inspection, it’s not from my engine!
My next door neighbour came out getting ready to drive to work, she apologized for her sister’s car leaking on my driveway, she parked there last night, while I wasn’t home! Mystery solved! No wrenches required! A squirt of Dawn and warm water and it wiped up easy!

The first in my family to make Lt.
Helping them hunt for a new car has been fun but also a pain lol, wish they would make up their mind so I can get my HHR back :)
But looking like a Toyota RAV 4 may be the winner ! Heck i don't care if they get a YUGO I want my HHR back lol
My Old work buddy is doing OK after his mini stroke and his son graduated from Boot Camp and now at AIT. He was approached by the RANGER recruiter and has been doing PT with they so if all goes well he will go to Ranger Training, And he know the failure rate is about 7 out of 10 fail :O
