With Hubby being a "car guy" , it doesn't matter what the cars worth or purpose, he always wants to make it ours, make it better and have the cool stuff for his car. We purchased this 2006 HHR LS because it was a sound Manuel trans in decent condition.
we paid a fair price for it, with 127000 miles, interior very clean.. Added the hose to the cold air intake. .
This weekend we added pick a part, color match stay painted to Turtle. Replaced the chrome HHR badging with Black " Custom".
( Side note: the HHR is named Turtle The HHR because the previous own used an ink stamp of a turtle over the small dents in the fender and door and had Turtle stickers in the window. We just can't get the ink out of they clear coat so the turtles are permanent.)

Lol, I seriously doubt you, or any other remaining HHR owners for that matter, have any problem whatsoever finding our cars in a parking lot! These things stick out like a fart in church! Lol!

The black trim theme is awesome. I went that route too. Hope to get an SS spoiler at some point. Where'd you get the black tail light rings?
The rings were chrome overlay, we used the 3 M adhesion promoter spray in paint department at AutoZone. Then used gloss Duplicolor paint then 2 part clear coat.
