Another Oh Hum oil change. The big thrill is when I get the new TPMS for my LR, I'll rotate the tires and grease the Moog sway bar links. Using synthetic grease on them that I used for generator support bearings when I worked. If that stuff can handle a rotating bearing for a lot of hours it can last much more on a sway bar link before lubing it again.

TTR Customer Service

I just got my sway bar in from Turbo Tech Racing. The box was really Beat up, hole in it and retaped. It was just the bar, missing all hardware and instructions. I talked to Aaron about it, and he is being super helpful. Sending out new hardware free and taking it up with USPS. He also helped me out a bunch with shipping to Guam. I'll definitely be ordering from them again and recommend them highly just for their customer service, even if there are bars and other parts a little cheaper elsewhere.

Switchbacks

I installed a set of switch backs for the front turn signals today. I really like the bright white look I have in the front with my LED headlights, switchback signals, and white marker behind a smoked lens. They came with a set of resistors that I sautered and heatshrinked in.
I kind of wish that my DRLs are wired to the turn signals like the '06s. Maybe in the near future.

I'm still waiting for a rear axle pivot bushing to get here, I accidently ordered only one, before I do any suspension work. I want to do it all at once, then alignment, then new tires that are sitting in my carport. Anticipation has been building.

Phone camera at night = bad pics, but here they are

New Speakers

I replaced the front pillar and front door speakers today. While I had the driver panel off, I also took apart the window switches and cleaned the contacts, switch and board, with some 2000 grit sand paper. There was a few places with corrosion, most likely from water coming in with the rain. Now I don't have to mash on the rear driver window switch for it to work. Speakers sound good too.

Edit, did the back speakers and the rear window switch contacts too.

Pulled out of condo parking lot at 0700 this morning, arrived at our hotel in Hillsville VA at 8:00 pm two food and fuel stops.
Developing a bad shakeat speed could be the steering rack input shaft bushing is worn.
234,500 miles I don't blame it!

Oldblue you were about an hour from me. I have relatives in Hillsville. Sometime look up the shootout in the courthouse there. I am told that the bullet holes Are still there. It happened around 1910.

Drive home from Hillsville, the passengers side wiper isn't working, got home searched on line, the fix I saw won't help cause the pivot linkage is just about shot on the drivers side, priced out online for a new part, Sweetie suggested wait till this morning and call the dealership here, I just did and surprise, surprise, they have one in stock and $2.00 less than one from RockAuto and no waiting for shipping to Canada!
It was fun driving thru a rain storm for about an hour just past Pittsburgh to Erie PA
