Say bye by to the gold faded out bowties

Horn button overlay

carbon fiber shorty

front marker lens. need more silver bowties

rear marker (too cold to put on stickers)

carbon to match shorty on the roof and came with chrome ring. Just couldn't get Blue Bowties
Nice mods. I'm now thinking about doing a complete bowtie cover on the side markers

Those stubby antennas suck for reception though. I ended up putting the stock 12" antenna back on.

Same here...its cracked to hell but those aren't even the issue - it's the sap or whatever that has accumulated over 10 years that blinds me any time any light is pointed towards me. Kinda a safety issue.

The only time I have any reception issues with my Stubby is when I get behind a mountain.
And they look so cool.

rode out to my old stomping grounds (the first dealership I worked at), for an oil change and to replace a bad TPMS
there's still some of the same guys I worked with there, so they hook me up, didn't have an appt and was still in and out in about an hour, and they don't mind me bringing my own parts (since I started there as a parts person)

Got my HHR back from my daughter. I know I'm repeating myself but that new anti sway bar made a big difference, especially for the cost! I didn't notice the brakes needed upgrading until the bar was installed because I drive it completely different now - much more aggressive and faster around corners. As soon as it gets warm, new rotors and pads are a priority. Glad to have it back.

there was a sway bar for sale near me. I think I will be getting it now. How hard was installation?

Also reminds me that I have to swap the drum brakes now. Once every 160k miles is good right? 😅

Very easy, especially if you have ramps and an impact wrench but you don't really need either. I can't think of any other thing that was as easy to do on this vehicle.

upgrade those brakes ! It doesn’t cost much more! You need rotors and pads anyway

And yes they fit behind 16 inch steelies!

Today a ride out to fill up the fuel tank and snowblower fuel can. Then picked up a take out dinner.
