Cheating on my HHR

Saw this for sale online nearby and going to try to go check on it. Looks like it may be a LT with the sunroof which means it probably have all the other goodies like remote start and heated seats. The color is blah but I can deal with it. Hope my current HHR doesn't see me tipping on her!

.

The exhaust tip is telling me it’s a 2.2 which would indicate it’s a 1LT , it might still have the options you want! The sunroof was an option available on the LS also.

Took my Covid test today, here’s the results, negative!! Yay!!

Congrats on the negative!

Man, you really know your stuff on these cars that you can tell stuff by the tailpipe! While I'd like a sunroof, the main thing I really want are heated seats and remote start - both of which aren't necessarily the easiest or cheapest stuff to add on the later cars that didn't come with them. Has lower 35k lower miles than mine - right around 100k as listed, for $3500, so it might not be worth it since I have mine all sorted out. Oh well, doesn't cost anything to look!

Go for a test drive, look in the glove box at the RPO sticker, that’ll tell you what it has, post a photo of it and we can decipher those codes!

He hasn't returned my call or email yet - I noticed he didn't include pictures of the interior and it has a dealer plate on it. I'll ask if he can send pics of both.

It's funny, I was perfectly satisfied with my current HHR with the 2.2 until I added the ZZP sway bar. I initially didn't think it made that much of a difference but then I noticed I was hitting right hand turns at a much higher speed - because it was just fun to do. Now I feel I have to upgrade the brakes and the 2.2 is feeling a little underpowered so a 2.4 might be worth waiting for a good deal on.

SS non Brembo brake upgrade is essential! I kinda miss the 2.2 non VVT , it provided better fuel mileage.

OOPSIE.
The Cobalt 4 spoke wheel doesn't have controls for the DIC.
I'll just have to add them somewhere else.
Maybe in the space for the rear window wiper controls as I removed the wiper 4 years ago and no longer use that switch.
AHHHH. The adventures of modifications.

Wow. That’s completely different than the stock wheel. Can’t wait to see how you’re going to modify it.

It is a stock wheel from an '05-'06 Cobalt.
Starting in '07, a 3 spoke wheel (like out HHR's) became standard.
Wiring harness is the same except no DIC control buttons.
