Took it to a dealership to get the rear fascia properly secured. It would bounce over bumps. Also had them look at how the front fascia seems to stick out near the fenders.

Get it in writing

Had the Chevy garage install fog lights on my 2007 LS , they quoted me 1-1/2 hrs labor at 88 dollars a hour didn't seem to bad to me. I got there at nine a.m for my appointment they got me right in. And at 2:45 they came and got me out of the waiting room and apologized for the wait LOL I was pretty nervous, 5 hrs at 88 bucks is $444 big ones with out 8% NYS tax. As the manager was explaining all the problems the TWO mechanics had installing the fog lights I started to see my wife's face as I told her the amount for lights she could care less about, then I spoke up the quote is right here in my pocket I dug it out handing it to the manager oh you had a quote I didn't know that she said, yup I made a extra trip over so they could make sure it was timed correctly and this is what it would cost. I'm glad I did that and really glad I had the quote on me ,she said my battery needed to be replaced and my drivers side strut was leaking so I asked for a quote got it from her and got the hell out of there. I stopped at two parts stores to have my battery tested both Advanced auto and Napa said it was good will check that strut next oil change.

Well a work hour is different than a clock hour. Each job is quoted at a predetermined hour from a third party, not even the manufacturer. They can look up in a book how many hours it will take to install that lights, and that's what you pay. Doesn't matter if it takes them all day, they get paid for how many hours it says it should take, regardless of the clock hours involved.
