All three are staying parked today, its rainy and miserable outside and my desk is covered in "must do" type stuff, sigh.

It is outside my office window... I am heading to the car wash in a few minutes. Nice break from a day of drawing...

Took a client to the store today and had some old man in a Dodge Caravan ask me about my car. Said he really liked it and wondered what kind of gas mileage they get. I explained there were different engines etc and let him know if he wanted a new one he better grab one up soon.

Ordered some dress-up parts from HHR Boutique and then drove it over to a client's site. Then drove back. Whoop-de-doo...

(At least the heavy rain was over; two chuckleheads almost ran into me on Saturday during the rain. Had to ask forgiveness on Sunday for calling my fellow man (women in this case) all sorts of colorful names. Fortunately I was in the car alone at the time...)

With the new fad being HID or HID style blue headlights and fog lights and the euro styling of clear side markers and tail lights I decided to go old skool (and different).
I replaced my clear front side marker lenses (up for sale soon) with the stock amber ones and installed amber bulbs behind them to make them a deeper amber (I have red bulbs in my rear side marker lights to get a deep blood red). I have chrome bulbs in my turn signals that light up amber and also have give a deeper amber hue. (had them in for awhile now)
I then went and bought some 5" precut circle amber vynil overlays for my fog lights. They look pretty good when the lights are off but I want them to be more of a deep amber when turned on so I am going to buy another pair and overlay a second piece to get the look I want.
I also installed red license plate bulbs in the rear so now when my parking lights are on, th back lights are all red and the front ones are all amber (until I turn on the headlights of course)

(should have took a pic with just the parking lights on. Maybe I will right now......)
