Long Goodbye...

Well y'all this is the long goodbye. I have my HHR listed in the Marketplace as parting it out. I'm heartbroken and broken trying to keep it going.

Y'all have always been a great group and good to me. Thank you for everything you have helped me with as well as the kind/encouraging words.

Take care...

Ronnie 😭

Sorry you’re leaving. Ronnie. Take care!

Today, a trip to the tire shop, get the bead broken on the summer rims, the bead goop is just not letting go.
I need them balanced anyways. Then we’ll take a drive and stop for a walk then a coffee.

Radco,
What an honor for both your son and you and his mother.
This says alot about how he was raised.
Enjoy and cherish this day.

Nope. When I bought my black 08 panel new, the spoiler was a dealer installed option. Not too many in my area have the spoiler so it's not something that pops up in the boneyard often

Ronnie- sorry to hear you couldn't get your HHR's issues solved. As you are probably aware, buying a car right now isn't exactly budget friendly either. Good luck to you, and don't write off HHR ownership totally, they are usually rather good cars.

Replaced VVTs and spark plugs (15lb Ft felt awfully light, but there are a LOT of threads) Think the VVT connectors were the biggest PIA part of the job (and for some reason getting the air box back on the posts.)

Props to Rockauto! (And FedEx!) Ordered Friday morning, got Sunday. Was ground and had an expected Wednesday delivery. (Took carid a week and a half to not even ship in stock items)

I thought I was the only one who had problems getting the airbox seated. That bracket is a bit flexy. I put a little grease on the posts so the grommets will pop on easier
