Left one behind in DC, was met at Charlotte-Douglas by my wife with another one this morning, and then headed to the Shock-Trauma unit at CMC Main.

Late last night, a member of my family was involved in a serious accident, as of now he's stable but critical following 12+ hours in surgery....and able to follow simple commands.

This has most definitely not been a fun day.

Thanks Ron, really appreciate it.

He's back in surgery as they try to turn his pelvis back into a pelvis, right now its a jigsaw puzzle, but fortunately we had some of the best orthopaedic docs in Charlotte.

One bright point, Carolina's Medical Center coffee can be used to strip paint and varnish, my wife's antique furniture business should benefit from this accidental discovery.

fabbed up a custom shifter for the HHR, the knob is custom fro American Shifter, I have been working out the bugs for the release and found common plumbing parts and a 4 1/2 inch 3.8 bolt worked just fine.

If it's the latter, you can fight the citation in court if you have the time and inclination.
The officer used a light meter. I laughed when the meter read .04 transparency.

I had the tint corrected to a legal 35% and I feel naked driving around now.

Really diggin' that shifter Oldblue!

You'll get used to that "naked feeling" nrvous1, I get it everytime I have to drive a non-HHR, you don't realize how much you miss the "factory chopped top" until you end up driving a Govt issue Crown Vic or Dodge Caravan.

I hope so. I'm itching to get the limo tint reinstalled after my court date.
