I live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and I drove up to Illinois, (Shelbyville) for the weekend, in my 09 HHR and averaged 32.7 MPG ... roughly 800+ mile round trip. My lady friend really liked my HHR (she drives a 2022 Equinox) and thought it was "cute" ... Strange "thang" when my tank get's real low on fuel and I stop and fill up, then when I restart, my Check Engine Light comes on !!! If I drive a short distance ) say 30 to 40 minutes, Stop at my destination, restart, say 30 minutes later, Check Engine Light does NOT come on and stays OFF till I run fuel down to an Eighth of a Tank or less. Strange, strange, strange !!! Anybody got any idea what's goin' on ??? 10 uh C cozydog Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
