Great ride with those struts, did you get new rear shocks?

Today a trip to our nieces, child care duty! Get them to school in time! More mud slinging for the BlackSwan

Yep, love the sure-footedness. Yes, new KYB shocks too! Already had them, was going to use on the SS, then found the OEM Sachs 030871’s for that job.

Today after a drive to my doctors appointment, I pulled the BlackSwan into the garage and changed the oil and filter, retorqued the engine mount bolts and installed that drivers side rear window WeatherTech vent visor, thank you, fastsuv! A piece of Oldblue lives on the BlackSwan!

Today a much quieter drive to Sweetie’s doctors appointment, most of the rattling in the front end was the resistors for the led turn signals loose!

Today just kicking back and relaxing, maybe a drive for a coffee with Sweetie later on. A trip to the hardware store for plumbing parts, the sump pump has been coming on every 2 minutes all night long, sounds like the water is going out then coming right back in through the weeping tile system, like the pipe outside is damaged.

Yesterday the P0442 (small evap leak) came back, so fixing the rusty vent line didn’t help. (No loss though, it would, have leaked soon anyway.)

Gas line, purge vent, cap, smoke test all already done. Have hunted for signs of damage or corrosion to no avail. Maybe some day it will graduate to a large leak and I’ll be able to smoke it out. Will continue to clear that code every couple of weeks so better half has her remote start. (Gotta say, I don't think the P0442 justified disabling it.)

The TSB on this is no help. “Here’s a long list of places it could leak. Good luck!”
