I once bought a Dorman and although it worked fine, it would not clip into the alloted space.
Thanks for the info

Drove to Port Colborne, Sweetie has tests today, thankfully it’s 40 degrees F here so the snow is melting!
Yesterdays new rattle isn’t making noise today!

Rear Shocks and a boost.

One of my rear shocks had rusted apart so I got some KYB'S and put in the coil springs I found in a Wal Mart parking lot years ago. Then I added the rubber coil boosters to the front for an altitude adjustment.

What is KYB's? My 07 is lifted using Malibu parts. What are your struts from?

KYB is a brand of shocks. How do you like the Malibu struts? That's what I plan on going with. I just have 2 of the rubber spring spacers on each side now. I might go with Malibu coil overs.

It's kinda cool. Takes bumps much better that stock. However at low speeds feels like old school air shocks. Handles very well over all.

Gave My daughter my 06. Just took this 09 over from my wife and the front suspension was crazy worn out. ( she hadnt noticed Ha Ha) I replaced both lower control arms, Monroe quickstruts, and Moog 10 inch end links. Added a Blue Tooth puck style adapter and cleaned it up. All in the same day. These suspensions are so easy to work on. Gotta love the HHR.

Just turned 44,000 miles

Just turned 44,000 miles old today, & have had it since new almost 13 years ago.
My buggy still makes me smile, laugh, & giggle.
So, I gave BLACK GHOST a bubble bath & put it in the garage until mid March.
I did have a BLACK GHOST 1970 HEMI Challenger with an automatic back in the mid 70s, that I should have kept.
I can't believe it's 55 degrees here in Pittsburgh today.
