Spent yesterday in the local Emergency room. X-rays show that I have a broken bone in my left foot( yes, my clutch foot). I’m in a boot and on crutches so I can’t drive the SS.
How did it happen ? That’s the weird part. No clue. I had no trauma of any kind. Just woke up with my foot hurting 5 days ago. Got worse day by day till the ER visit.
Next stop is the Ortho doctor to see if surgery is needed.
Old age sucks !
FMG- That is bizarre, Agree, that old age sucks.. Hang in there man, your SS still looks Brand new..

The HHR is doing well ,
Fresh oil and exhaust fixed
now makes less noise then I do when I stand up or get off the floor lol
I find it strange that the studs on the exhaust flange on my HHR and Truck broke/rusted off same place :O

I was going to give it a bath yesterday but the lines at the wash bay were full .
People taking advantage of the warm 40* day

Spring is coming :) Well maybe lol 30s and 40s this week but will hit single to low teens at night

Moved it out of the driveway to chip the 3” of ice off the concrete! No metal scrap tools allowed, just plastic shovels and the sun to melt abit at a time!
I did drive to take Sweetie to her eye doctor’s appointment this morning.

Today, we are taking the BlackSwan out for a tour to Fort Erie, I am wanting a nice hot coffee so we’ll be stopping in Ridgeway for that. It’s nice to back up if out the driveway and not see a drip of transmission fluid!

Nice! Today we went foraging and gathering to the Costco in Niagara Falls, man they are crazy in there, must be the threat of a snowstorm tomorrow a forecast of 5cm/2” to 10cm/4”. Either that or they only shop once a month. A nature conscious fellow parked near my, said he saw an oil slick under my car, said it was old and tired, I should junk it and buy a new EV like he has a Ford Lighting F150, you know the ones that Ford stopped producing because of battery fires. Very ecologically good! I’m thinking marshmallows weren’t on the option list, and no S’mores edition with fine chocolate from Frankenmuth Michigan . I’m going have a look, I hope it’s engine oil and not transmission fluid!

This morning I had to move the cars out of the way so the window guys could take over the driveway and garage as a work station for the new windows to be installed, hopefully no nasty freezing rain like last week.
