Put the Winter wheels on yesterday afternoon. No floor jack, used the jack out of the trunk. Pretty efficient with a cordless drill, actually.
Wife was a big help, enthusiastic, learned how to use an impact driver. Even with two sets of hands the job took almost three hours, but that included washing, tire shining and storing the Summers. Come to think of it, because the steelies came off hard last Spring, I also spend time grinding out the hubs a bit and applying touch-up paint.
Perfect weather for the job, think she had fun.
Everything takes longer than I think.
Gotta get the torque wrench checked. Keeps getting harder to hit 100 ft-lbs.
second gen Durango 04-09, I think it was around the time Nesbitt made the Chrysler/GM switch?
neighbor had one in his driveway and I had to do a double take
heathenhhr- OK Thanks, didn't know that.

Oldblue- Hit 80* today, enjoying it as we can. Next week is predicted to be a very different story.. Last Cruise show is this Saturday..
Attended last Cruise in Show of this year. Was jam packed. Excellent to see so much variety of fine rides.
Our Cruise is growing. My Panel got some attention as well. Few questions, made me feel good..
In the process of moving my mom, the old HHR has been invaluable. We had a pickup to haul some stuff, but the HHR is actually longer than many short bed pickups plus you can put stuff totally inside - useful if it's raining or if you can unload it immediately. This was a patio set and then we loaded up a heavy roll top desk and it carried it with no problem. Another plus is the low loading height - just tilt stuff and slide it in.
I swapped the winter tires and reset the TPMS. I changed oil and filter , reset oil monitor and put winter windshield wipers on.
I took my equipment over to a friends and swapped her winter tires, in her garage.

Cheap Guy- Cool Beans, they can haul.. Not my pic but one I saved..
Thanks!!! That will come in handy with all the hauling I do. The rear seat has been up only a few times since I've bought it, and the front passenger seat has been down a considerable amount of time. It's just flat out amazing how much stuff you can put in this thing.

The proportions are strikingly similar. Durango sits higher and looks substantially bigger, not that much more room inside tho, worse fuel economy.
