Good, 👍

Today , is suspension day. It’s sunny and warm . Front struts, rear shocks, swaybar end links and all 4 TPMS sensors. Not necessarily in that order.

These were the parts to installed. All went pretty good until the left rear shock lower bolt broke. RA has them in stock and will be here Tuesday. Tomorrow I drill out and extract the bolt shank

sometimes it doesn't take much. I have had good results with a propane torch in a pinch. Haven't had to use my torches in a few years, now the welders is a different story,. Just last week I overloaded the trailer and going over the curb broke the cross member holding the back of the tongue. Had to use the old stick welder on that one! My wirefeed welder is pretty small/ light duty.

I remember drilling out the wheel studs on an old Jeep that had those covered lug nuts. Amazing how soft those bolts were.
You got this!!

Harbor Freight doesn't sell the gas, at least not here. Maybe a set of Mapp torches?

I’m in no rush, it’s Sunday, so nobody’s really open for business, like a muffler shop or local garage.

Yesterday, Sweetie sold the 36 year old JD push mower, it was hard to start for her, no self propelled feature and it was the aluminium deck but heavy . She got 1/2 of what she paid for it back 1988. So today we were surfing for deals on a new mower and spotted one at a local big box store you would call them Lowe’s, we have Rona up here. new unit is battery powered, one handle height adjustment, self propelled with adjustable speed, you can side shoot or bag or mulch. It’s lite weight, handle folds flat and it stands up out of the way.
My oncologist ordered me to not use any lawn equipment. So Sweetie’s on yard duty til next spring!

It served it’s purpose

I just took it out from the shed, the new owner put fuel in it and he started it right up, first pull. That’s quality!

I got tired of the 3 hour grass cutting routine on my small lot, my son can do it in about 5 min, but chooses not to. The wife pays to go work out at a gym, but won't cut the grass... Last year my oldest son moved back home, but can never get the mower to start, so I found a zero turn mower at an auction. rebuilt the carb, new belts and battery. I have never cut grass with it as the oldest son seems to always cut it instead. Whatever works I guess.

Woke up with a toothache this morning - and 15cm of snow. So no lawn mowing for me today.

Browsing the net I found a used HHR / same colour as ours. Offered for small money and only 20mins away.
Might be a good spare parts depot for the future. Will contact the seller tomorrow.

Just fired up the chimney for a comfy evening. Still trying to make my mind up if I should start with a Vodka-Lemon, a Campari-Orange
or a bottle of French beer. But please don`t think I`m an early drinker - it`s 8 o`clock in the evening here.

Regards Simon
