Yesterday ( 8 am) I mowed my backyard. Approx 800 sq ft and filled two 32 gallon bags with clippings.
I think that I waited too long since the last mow.
Took a shower and drove to Wickenburg for lunch.
Got back from a long weekend at the cabin in Northern Minnesota, nice cool weekend and got back home for the heat. Talked to a guy who does cement work, looking for a pad for the Hot Tub I picked up He never returned a call after looking over the job, so I got 76 cement blocks and made up my own pad. Finished up early today to beat the heat (just barely) and tub is in place. Now I just need an electrician to wire it up.... Been waiting for 6 months now for YMCA to put their Hot Tub back in service, finally gave up and got my own. And NO I didn't use the HHR to haul the cement blocks. I used the wife's Trailblazer... Monday is a trip up to St. Paul to visit my lil sister who is in Hospice. sadly time is getting short for her. (Pancreatic Cancer)
Drove out to Smithville for a coffee with the_shmoo, had a great discussion about how our HHR’s are running and such, thanks for the coffee! See you next month!
Parked it for a minute until I update Autel software to check codes. Have a little shudder on light acceleration and noted on a 90degree day engine temp climbed to 216 degrees and engine was missing. SMH car continues to fight me.
Aired up the tires, drove it into town (25 miles), filled it up with Premium, and this guy pulled in behind me at the pumps in his 2008 HHR. It has only 47,000 miles and is garage kept. We had a nice conversation.
