Today, a drive to have coffee with the_shmoo, plan our winter tire swap and next summer’s tires replacement.

This morning was in the low 60’s , cool enough to get out and change the valve cover I painted last week, a special thanks to the_shmoo for his loaner valve cover while I cleaned and painted mine, it only took 2 years because of my colon cancer diagnosis!

Today an adjustment to my hood hinges, and the dash clunk I’ve been looking for over the last 6 years is silenced!! So, we test drove out to Cayuga , stopped for an ice cream along the way!

If you open the hood and look for the adjusting bolts I adjusted them 1/2 turn each , checked for clunk by gentle tap on centre of hood. I adjusted just a 1/4 turn after that and the clunk stopped! The bolts are 10 or 11 mm , I grabbed my trusty 4” adjustable crescent wrench.

Thanks, I will check it out. Never thought it would be under the hood and not the dash.

Years of OCD tapping and listening over washboard roads, train tracks and potholes. Finally I am not hearing things!

Today drop Sweetie off at the dentist, then I’ll be going for blood work appointment. It’s Monday!

Which means we survived the weekend?
Today I squared the base for the new shed I'm building, put down the floor, and coated it with Thompson WaterShield.
Not sure when I can get to building the walls and roof.

We went to the bakery for bread and donuts! A very smooth ride!
