Yesterday and today were snow days , so I used my neighbours snow thrower to clear away our driveways and the sidewalks, cleaned the snow off his truck and the BlackSwan. The city’s snow plow came by after I was finished, so I suited up and went back out to open the end of our driveways , hopefully that will be it for snow ❄️ falls this week, crap, alexia just gave a notification there is a snow squall warning for tonight and tomorrow, yeah!

Well I cleared the snow , ran out of fuel, shoveled out my sidewalk, neighbour brought me a can of fuel, I cleared his driveway, came in and had lunch and great! More snow!
This morning, another all day snow squall event, so I shovel the driveway every 3 to 4 hours, much easier to push out of the way! Yesterday I drove it to pick up a pizza and fill the fuel tank in anticipation of today’s weather.
Got a report on my HHR today, The Kid says it occasionally smells like gas, but only when it is running. he says it isn't using a lot of gas, and no puddle by rear wheel. Also today he had it running to warm up (which I don't usually do much) and it dropped into the 'reduced power' mode and wouldn't move. He shut it off and after a bit, restarted it and it ran fine. I'm guessing it had something to do with the temp being -30 degrees out as it did that to me about 3 years ago and it was extremely cold then too. The fuel smell, fuel line was already replaced so ??? I'll have to check it out.
Good news is he has plans to get his Jeep looked at this week and MAYBE I will get my baby back soon!!!!!! You have no idea how much I miss it! Driving my 1999 Land Rover is just not the same thing. It is tougher to get in and out of, door is smaller, and higher ground clearance than my HHR.
Today the snow plow woke me up at 5:00 am, like usual a lot of snow pushed into my driveway. So I’m going to be working on that to be able to get out to my doctors appointment at 11:00 am
Update on my missing HHR... got a phone call, seems it is dripping gas from in front of drivers rear wheel...I told him parts are in the back by the tire and battery. He said where's that??? Put me out of my misery someone!!!!!
