Today being Good Friday, we will light candles at the cemetery, then go for a drive in the countryside and later I just might attempt the third summer tire change and take inventory of my maintenance supplies. Oil, filters, bushings, spare parts and stuff.

On Thursday, Baby got new shoes. 245/40R18 on 8.5" wide w/ 35mm offset works out nicely. Compared to stock, tre width increased .79", track increased just .55", so, sidewall pushed out .67". All nominally of course.

Tiny increase in torque steer detected, as expected. Or maybe I'm just imagining it.

I have a little leak in the driver side output shaft. Is that a legitimate excuse to do an F40 swap?

Put on some cheap smoked tails. I like the look, but now I realize that they dim the backup lights and taillights and turn signals and stuff too much. I think I need some extra bright LEDs. Preferably something. It won't make me fool around with load resistors. Red LEds might be good, even tho the smoky coating is over red lenses.

Seems like LEDs are moving Target with something new coming out every week. Anyone have some recent experience?

I’ve had the IPCW reds for over a decade now, no complaints.
They are bright and shiny
