Would that throw a code? this is my kids car now, so I have limited information at this point. Gonna find out more today. Yeah. did some you tube research on the shift solenoids. Not too bad of a job. Car goes into reverse, 1st and 2nd , but not drive/ OD it just revs up in od. It would be nice if this is repairable without breaking the bank.

 

If your code reader can read transmission codes then yes a code or 2 would show up.
