Well, It started by fixing the two new rock chips,then wheel polish ,then alcohol clean the tires and put a new base coat of tire finish,then new layer of wax,including 3 coats on the front,then new rain-x on all the glass even the skylite, So guess I'm ready for all the rain coming this week.

 

Heading down to SC to stay with Mom after her surgery, they live on the beach, I've seen what salt air can do to cars....I don't take anything I care about near the ocean. It might seem silly, but unless you've lived right on the coast, you haven't seen rust in all of its glory.

 

Um, I live in Michigan. I have family that lives on the Gulf in Ft. Myers. Salt water in the air isn't going to do anything to your car. They NEVER wash theirs, and they sit outside. No rust. Besides, it's not like you're going to be down there for 15 years....

I bought a pair of Panel rear door interior panels on ebay for a little Custom work I am planning out.

From an '08 white Panel as the Donor. Shipped via FedEx should be here in a few days.

 

Sad to see an HHR cut down in its prime, but nice to know it gave its life so others can modify. So what ya gonna do next A&P?
