i fabbed up a bumper brace to replace the stock bumper, still gotta clean it up and drill mounting holes tho. now i'll be able to show off the new ZZP heat exchanger, and get more air flow

I mounted the "gutter guard" mesh in the grill shell, and its just about ready for a Victory red paint job.Now I need to find a front bow tie to trick up

Replaced front rotors and pads, rt side started squeeling like a pig Fri.Lt side actually had good pads left, trac Control? probably sticky caliper. Rotors were really wore into, about
.050 ,oh well over 40k and the tires look great! Now I'll have to do the rears..sigh..

Garry,

You could probably just smooth off the face whether filling in the holes, or sanding it down so it's smooth and paint it that way, so you don't need a new bowtie. IMHO, that would look very sharp!

Got home from bowling practice in my beater Misubishi Galant and fired up the Big Red car aka HHR and took mama to dinner . Been raining here for 2 days off and on and just awful weather . bad thing is as soon as the rains over I have to wash it because it seems to rain dirt here .

Friday night I washed my and my gfs ride (2010 HHR SS - mine, 2005 Chevy Equinox - hers). Have some Niteshades on it's way to black out my bumper lights and reflectors. Haven't decided if I'm going to attempt to black out the tail lights yet. I do plan on upgrading them eventually to LEDs, but for now I may attempt to just paint them.

We have another 5 days of nothing but rain, so will give me some time to get them painted.
