She got a grill, an air matress, 2 suit cases, 5 days worth of food, more grill parts, 2 people... oh and a metric ton of liqouer and beer and is now at the shore having fun off roading down the sand roads around the house. Oh and she HASN'T BROKE!

now back to my regular schedualed drinking.

Had an appointment for service. The oil has been changed. Also had the tires rotated and a few other glitches were to be fixed on the car. Dealer replaced BCM because the doors locks (either using the remotes or the door lock controls on the door)was locking the doors only when they pleased.

Also found out while the tires were being rotated that the right side parking brake wire clip got loose and the wire was rubbing against the tire pretty badly. The rubbing was bad enough so all the markings on the tire is now gone, and the parking brake cable was worn to the metal. That would be a good thing for you guys to check on your HHR's.

I changed the cabin air filter today. When I took the old filter out leaves and dirt fell out all over my glove box. I noticed that it was still the original filter and I have 73,000 miles on this car. Needless to say, the air blows a lot better now.

I remember pumping Sunoco in late sixties for like 24 cents. And my first car was a '53 Chevy 210 Deluxe 2 door.
I got discharged from the Air Force in 1953 and went to work at the Chevy plant in Van Nuys, Calif. installing the the right front fender and and inner panel and grill, only worked there for 4 weeks.

looking good Lunchbox!

Do I see a dent on the line of the HHR behind the door handle, on that upper line, above the rear wheel? or is it just the light?
