Hopefully didn't destroy her.... Last night while tightening the worm clamp to fix my boost leak, the clamp breaks. I'm like "fine, n/p I'll get to it tomorrow" (this was at like 12:30 this morning mind you). Today get in the car and head to work (checked under the hood before starting the car and everything looked fine). Get about 1 mile from the house and the car dies. No CELS, no misfire codes but it's very rough when I try to start it and dies as soon as I put it in gear. Look under the hood thinking a coupler popped off, I'm horrified to see my 1/4 ratchet sitting on top of the ecu (made contact with some other metal object ARGHH!). Apparently I completely overlooked the ratchet when I closed the hood before heading to work. So best case: a few fuses are blown and need replacing, worst case: ecu's fried (I flipping pray not!!!!). Car's sitting at Loehman Chevy thanks to 1800chevusa but my car's NEVER been there for anything... I'm hoping for the best but I'm REALLY stressed out over this. My day sucks right now, how about yours?

Good luck Allex! Tell them to be thorough, and don't let them bluff you on saying it was something simple.. Make certain of it.

did my first oil change. dic was at 0%, accumulated mileage at 12000km(7400miles). the oil was dark but not black. i was curious to see how far the oil change monitor would take it. ill do my next change at no more than 10000km.

My last change, the DIC was still at 19% and I got over 7700 miles using full Synth Pennzoil Platinum. I figure I will just change twice a year, spring and fall unless I start putting a bazillion miles on it for some reason.

On topic...... Dusted her off, went to the store, let her sit out for awhile in the driveway after I got home........ Dusted her off again and put her in the garage for the night.

Sure is damn dusty around here.

State capital and back in Paddy today, it was a productive meeting and traffic wasn't nuts around Raleigh for a change, that's a rare thing anymore. Had a dark blue LT keep me company for 50 miles on the interstate this morning, hope they took notice of the HHR.net decal and check this place out. 420 miles on this tank and the needle is just above the 1/4 mark, gotta love that highway mpg!

I installed the Cobalt SS/TC shocks and springs in the rear. I saw the box finally came and I geeked out. I had to make a tough decision: install the suspension parts or take a shower before going out. It took me 32 minutes and I still had some time to splash some water on my face....and the girlfriend was worried we were going to be late...I thought we were too Then I made her nervous because it felt like the Eaton-powered HHR was on rails. Definitely doing the front next month.

Allex I hope for the best. I agree taking it to a new dealership is never fun, especially since you have such a wonderful one already who doesn't mind the mods that you have done. Hopefully it is just a few fuses.
