Just got back, we got a late start but did get as far as Smugglers Notch.

Marijuana is medicinal in Vermont, especially on a 460 mile ride down many rough dirt roads. I'm sober but tolerant.

Here's a taste, more to come...

It's not always the bridges themselves, sometimes it's where they are or what you do there...swimming for instance...

Pink Floyd ~ The gold it's in the....

"Come on, my friends,
Let's make for the hills.
They say there's gold but I'm looking for thrills.
You can get your hands on whatever we find,
'cause I'm only coming along for the ride.

Well, you go on your way and I'll go mine,
I don't care if we get there on time.
Everybody's searching for something, they say.
I'll get my kicks on the way.

Over the mountains, across the sea
Who knows what will be waiting for me?
I could sail forever to strange sounding names.
Faces of people and places don't change.

All I have to do is just close my eyes
To see the sea gulls wheeling in the far distant skies.
All I want to tell you, all I want to say
Is count me in on the journey.
Don't expect me to stay."

Took a little trip into the wilds, 25 miles of muddy switchbacks around cliffs over Hoods Canal to find this house. The short bus was in dire need of a spa treatment when we got back. Here's the view from the deck, rainforest.

Took the car over to AutoZone to get the CEL checked. Said that the camshaft position sensor was "out of time" and reset it. Car never missed a beat on the trip and now the CEL is gone. Anyone ever heard of that before? anything I should be worried about?

I would have Gladly paid for a Quality Factory Sound Package if they had offered one.

The other area is "Road Noise" on other then smooth paved roads.

Mine is whisper quiet on new Quailty Asphated Hiway, but turns to a very Irritating Rackett when you go back to the old paving that has had 3-6 winters of studded tires running over it.

Thanks Silverfox.

Added some more yesterday.

It would make a Big difference if they had. Audio guys do it to Beaters that they want better sound and less road noise.

Even if you arent upgrading your audio system, adding sound dampening can do wonders for your interior space. A quiter ride, and even a stiffer feeling car overall while driving. It Does make a difference.

It takes some effort and a few bucks, I bought about $500.00 worth, and if I was really into it, I could add another 5-600.00 worth of stuff over the top.
Closed cell foam type over the foil backed butyl.

I am only taking it so far getting the larger areas silenced and to stop the rattles as best I can. 80-90% coverage on the areas.

Trying to get it all Now as I don't want to have to gut the interior again.

Got the floor basically done now. The piller between the doors has the openings for the shoulder belts so I am just going to add 2 layers to the plastic panel that covers that area, and call that area done.

Actually, I did this yesterday. Added SS Ground Effects, Black Mirror Covers and Bowtie Graphic. Still have to add tint to the back for the sunshield.

CEL came back. p0011, camshaft position sensor over-advancing timing on bank a. Doh!

Also got a card left on my window by someone from ******************* at the USAFM this afternoon.

Edit: interesting that the website ***'d itself.
