Oil change tomorrow.... well today I guess .... after my 24 hour shift. Full synthetic oil. Maybe a car wash too.

The "old" sub box was actually purchased a few months ago new in prep for this upgrade to my audio system. Before I bought most of it, unfortunately it was just the Wrong type and size sub box for the sub woofer I ended up buying.

A couple weeks ago I took my Sons car to Harbor Freight for some buffing supplies and noticed his factory radio was shot, touch the dial and nothing but static and no stations would come in.

So I offered up my old system from one of my Astro Vans that I was gonna use in the HHR, but I ended up going for the Stage 3 Pioneer stuff instead. So he is getting the old system. He's in college and works but they only give him a day or two a week part time.

So he can really use it all, if he had Told me his radio took a Dump I would have installed the Pioneer DEH-P7700 MP Head Unit I have sitting in my garage long ago for him.

Now were gonna install the whole deal I have sitting.
Pioneer DEH-P7700 MP Head Unit
Alpine 4/3/2 MRP-F240 Amp
Alpine MRP-M350 Mono Amp
4-Pioneer 4-way TS-A1681R Speakers
2-3 way Pioneer TS-A4670R 4X6
And another 12" Pioneer Sub Woofer I have sitting here.

IF we end up not using the Bandpass Box, I will let you know first Officer.

This setup should give him some pretty good sound in his car.

Likes my "chicklets".

1 Day old and you've already started.

Love your new sig line.

I can see it now, you daily drive the Black Panel around, challange some kid to race your "HHR" they think you mean the Black one, and you show up with the Blown Silver one!

I went for my usual Dunkin Donuts Exrta Large Coffee this morning and put in Kid Rocks C*cky CD.

The new system sounds pretty awsome. The sub Feels like its punching the back of the seat now. @ 20-22 on the volume, and the head unit goes up to 40 with all kinds of settings and a 13 band EQ.

I am VERY Pleased.

The Pewter Skull I have hanging from my mirror dances all over the place and I can feel my hair moving.

The sound barrier I installed is Awsome, crank it up to about 22 or 24 and close the door standing outside the Panel and the music is quieted down on the outside and Nothing is making any annoying vibration noises. The roof barely moves at all now, very quiet.

Without any music on in the Panel driving with the windows up doing 65mph, it is now Very Quiet Inside. The doors sound and feel very Solid.
