I'd have to agree Mowgli. Just I wouldn't have killed ya. Just a nice big zap, as what I'll be carrying with my CCW is a taser. Just for occasions like that, i'd feel necessary to use it. you'd be fried, not dead..

OT, topped him off at $3.75/gal.. I felt someone mugging me. also, ran my buddy home from work last night around 11, and saw an amazing light show being put on by Mother Nature.

 

Let me clarify...

I was approaching a blinking yellow light. They (on my left) had a blinking red and rolled right across the intersection without looking.
I'm in a big black car, approaching at 35 MPH, close enough to have to slam on the brakes.
A motorcycle might have dumped. An old lady would have slammed into them. Maybe a soccer mom with the team too.
I'm not a bully but the driver needed a wake up call.

You guys are also dangerous men. Not 2 buzzed golfers in a Benz.
I've been in enough dangerous situations to evaluate an opponent with appropriate accuracy. I'm not a putz.
I passed all the tests to get into SEALS training just to see if I could.
But I was hardcore FTN all the way and just did my time instead.

You wouldn't have shot me because you would have stuck your gun out at me or you would gotten out to chat me up.
I was unarmed and don't, as a rule, yell in armed men's faces.

In your states you can shoot someone that breaks into your house if you or yours are in danger.
Same in NH.
I like that, it's right.
Not in Mass. The gun laws are horribly different here.

I know people that probably would have shot me.
I saw who was in the car and correctly evaluated the situation.
I was not in danger and would have acted differently as the situation required.

On the other hand I could have f*cked up, bled out at the scene and Arnold could be out on personal recognisance.

I'm not going anywhere. I'd miss the community and will probably meet some of you in my travels.
I'll continue to post here will consider myself part of the HHR community whether I'm an owner or not.

 

Maybe my response was too strong(and I do apologize), but I'm armed at all times and have been trained to react to threats with deadly force if necessary. Because of my past working as a prosecutor I know there are people out there, or their family members, who would like to do me harm if given the chance...I don't intend to give them the chance.

You did what you thought was right at the time, those guys screwed up and they could have taken you out had the timing been off a few seconds either way. Should you have followed them and reported it to the police once you had their tag number, probably, but I wasn't there.

I'm just glad nothing escalated to the point of personal injury on anyone's part, so many traffic confrontations end up with someone taking a ride in an ambulance or body bag.

I'm glad you'll be sticking around here, we'd miss you and your take on things. Besides, we have to see you resurrect that old Eagle and let it spread its wings.

P.S. Michelle is still giggling at me being called "dangerous", she says that only holds true when I'm near power tools or on a ladder.

Installed my new Pioneer HD Radio Module this morning.

Nice, does what I had hoped for, the few stations I like to listen to are now Crystal Clear with CD Quality Sound on FM, and the AM Band(Bears Games)now they sound like a Good FM station coming in.

The Rock station thats been around 30-35 years The Loop, was not always coming in the greatest in my HHR Panel, even the Stock Premium system was like that and never before had a problem getting them in in my area before the HHR.

All GOOD now tho.



I just gotta tidy some things up and snap the dash back together now.

HD Radio you get whats in your area, some stations run it and the old analog or run a few HD stations with different music or DJ's. Free, no fees.

XM and Sirrus have More stations and they go where you go, but you Pay for it too. If you live in an area without much choice of radio stations it's probably a Must Have.
Here we get tons of stations of all types so no need for it. Yet.

 

I don't think I've even heard the radio in mine....... CDs that I've remastered, yes.... radio, never.
