Actually did it yesterday - weather cooperated enough to where I could put the new headlight bulb in - nothing but rain the other day when I wanted to change the bulb.

Today - started the HHR for the wife this morning with the remote start. Pretty heavy frost last night. Gotta love that remote start.

"Gotta love that remote start."

All hail option code AP3, blessed be those with the sacred key fob.

Back to OT, burbled over to the airport in Paddy to pre-preflight the Cessna for tomorrow's trip, 60 year old aircraft demand attention like Paris Hilton on a bad hair day....lots of primping and preening.

Speaking of key fobs. I called a local locksmith that I heard sold chevy key fobs with the remote start. $69.95 programmed, this is a good deal? Todd (Uma)

Drove the Spousemobile to the airport this morning because we were going to be flying up to Montreal for a few days to see some friends, but I'm afraid our plane had different plans.

For the second time this year my Cessna has developed magneto issues, during engine run up the left magneto failed completely on me. Oh well, 60 year old aircraft can be touchy and difficult at times, so Monday morning will see my A&P tech yanking the magnetos to see what has left the Cannibal Queen grounded. We'll have to see how much of the bill will be covered by the magneto manufacturer since they're under warranty.

I did get some nice compliments from the crew of a corporate Cessna Citation 10 business jet, they came over to check out the Queen while we unloaded our luggage. Then I got to check out a brand spanking new 28 million dollar corporate jet, only 410 flight hours, and that wonderful "new jet" smell.

I'll have to see if they offer that scent at the FBO Sam, its like "new car smell" but only more expensive, much more expensive.

Sorry Sam, no "new jet smell" air fresheners available at the FBO, but they do have the Celeste "Flight Fresh" air fresheners in stock.

FAA approved and only $3 each!

Back to OT....My wife has just taken Boo Boo "shopping", she will now take out her frustration over our cancelled trip on our credit cards, sigh.
